INDIAS PREMIER 1200 KM LRM AT BANGALORE

1200 KM Indias premier LRM Gates of Heaven at Bangalore with 39000 elevation completed in 90.35 hrs. well organised by Bangalore Randonneur. Every 100 km check points with food/hydration. Kudos to mohan sir and his entire team. Celebrated Republic Day with forest people at Irrity forest check post. Txns all who supported me and prayed for me for my completion. Txns to Chain reaction Nagpur for technical support. It was MnM trg that I could reach at finish line In single piece. 10 riders started Where as 55 top riders from various parts of India quit in between due to various reasons. Txns shabaj khan for kerala for whom I wait in morning, but at the end he took me to finish line.

The reason for late finish by 35 min –come Scheme:

  • Helped the rider at 12 midnight in forest area where he was sick. Took him with me thus gone 2-3 hrs.
  • Last day shabaj khan kerala rider was not waking up. So tried and took with me. Thus gone another 40-50 min
  • Route was from remote villages where u will not get water also for 50-60 kms so we used to stop and request any family for water by showing our empty sipper. During night
  • I used broken gpx file – which took in wrong direction two times – 14 km extra
  • During downhill where the speed of bike was plus 70 kms- roads were totally broken , no space for bike to move further. Approx. 30-40 places. 50 percent route during night time.
  • One mistake and we get ticket for heaven
